Wheaton College Norton, Massachusetts

Scott Nickle

Activities: I run finances and select tournaments for Wheaton’s ultimate frisbee team. I wouldn’t be running all the paper for the team if I didn’t love playing/ watching it. I also hang out with friends, run around the town of Norton literally, and go on some of the outdoors club trips as well.

Why Wheaton? I like the small intimate community of a liberal arts school and the university-type resources.

Favorite class? Tricky question … I’d guess I’d select Professor Mathis and Contemporary Political and Social Philosophy.

Your Adventure? During my freshmen year, I spent my first semester studying abroad in London with a few other Wheaton students.

Dinner with? William Shakespeare. He has been able to successfully reach audiences for about four hundred years in various types of conditions. Plus there’s not a lot known about the man.

What would you eat? I enjoy preparing this tart with tomatoes, caramelized onions, and Greek cheese, though pumpkin pie is a close second.

Favorite TV show? My favorite television show is actually Dark Shadows. It originally aired weekdays from June 27, 1966 to April 2, 1971 and featured stories of ghosts, vampires, time-travel, witches, werewolves, and some other paranormal concoctions.
