Wheaton College Norton, Massachusetts

Heather Wilson

Activities? I am a member of the Roosevelt Institution and Model United Nations. I am in the band for VUJ (playing guitar) and am also a worship leader for Christian Fellowship. I am a member of the Bias Incident Response Policy Revision Committee on campus. I also fence on a competitive level.

What I like most about Wheaton? I love how small the campus is so that we really have a community here. It’s great to be able to walk into Chase and have someone you know to eat with!  I also love the campus. It’s beautiful and Cow Duck always makes me laugh.

Favorite class? This semester my favorite class has been my FYS: Social Empowerment Through Performing Arts. We all became so close and trusting of each other.  Professor Julie Searles is my favorite professor.  She is easy to talk to and always has us do interesting or different things in class.

Favorite quote? “Confine yourself in the present.” Marcus Aurelius

Favorite sport? Fencing. And I love to watch football.

Dinner with? Alice Paul, one of the leaders of the Women’s Suffrage movement in the United States.  I have done two major research papers on her and the movement and think she would be fascinating to talk to.
