Security access: “I assisted with updating important Homeland Security documents, took notes at meetings and assisted the Massachusetts Homeland Security Division on side tasks wherever possible.” 

Government insight: “I most enjoyed having the ability to gain firsthand experience on how a government agency runs and participating in the Homeland Security Division’s outdoor site visits and training. The internship also taught me what an office work environment is like, as well as project management and team communication skills.”

Career application: “My career interests are in the field of history, security policy and international relations. This internship has given me great insight into what a career path in that direction would look like.”
