CAMPUS NEWS AND EVENTS
2006 Fulbright Scholars
Five Wheaton seniors--Jeremy Berger, Lesley Dean, Zoë Lees, Joshua Purvis and Stephen Wulff--will teach English abroad next year as 2006 Fulbright Scholars. Read more about Wheaton's national scholars for 2006.
Medieval art is cool
Visiting the Medieval monuments of Paris and Chartres was the ultimate field trip for senior art history majors during spring break. And the Eiffel Tower wasn't bad either. (See story and photographs.)
Join us for Community Day April 30
Friends and neighbors of the college are invited to join us for a festive day of music, art exhibitions, dance performances, a cook-out and lots of family fun. We'll also be wishing a happy birthday to Wheaton's Elisabeth Amen Nursery School, which turns 75 this year. (Details here.)
Challenging classes
The Wheaton freshmen proved to be champion pie eaters but were no match for the sophomores in the trashy '80s costume contest during the Battle of the Classes: The Hunt for Lyon Pride, a friendly competition held during the weekend of March 24-26. Which of the four classes outscored the others? Find out here.
LOOKING AHEAD
Summer programs on campus
The Wheaton campus will be home to a variety of sports camps for children and teens this summer, and most are directed by Wheaton coaches. Details here.
