Homecoming this weekend
With the new college year in full swing, Homecoming Weekend, October 21-23, is the perfect time to sample all things Wheaton. Guests will have a chance to enjoy some outstanding academic and arts events, visit with their students, and catch up with old friends. To inquire about late registration, call the Office of Student Life at 508-286-8222. Although a few events are fully booked at this time, there's still plenty to see and do! (More)
Leading the way in global education
Wheaton has been selected as one of 16 colleges to participate in a national effort by the Association of American Colleges and Universities to enhance global learning for undergraduates. (More)
Mellon grant boosts Brown-Wheaton partnership
Wheaton has received a Presidential Leadership Award from the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation in support of Ronald A. Crutcher's new tenure as president. The college will use the $50,000 award to fund the Brown/Wheaton Teaching Laboratory in the Liberal Arts (TLLA), a unique partnership now in its second year. (More)
Attleboro's Lisa Nelson '76 to head Wheaton Associates
Lisa Nelson '76 remembers her college years as an empowering experience that gave her the courage to become Attleboro's first female fire commissioner and start her own business, all while raising a family with her husband, Larre. Now she's spreading the word about Wheaton as the newly elected chair of Wheaton Associates, the college's community partner. (More)

ATHLETICS
Milestone for Marriah
Senior middle hitter Marriah Vengroff recorded 12 kills against Amherst College at the Wesleyan University Tournament on Oct. 1 to become Wheaton's fifth women's volleyball player to attain 1,000 career kills. She ended the day in fourth place on the Wheaton all-time list, with 1,013 kills. (More)
