ATHLETICS
Night at the ballpark
A contingent of Wheaton supporters will be on hand at McCoy Stadium on the night of Wednesday, July 20, to see Chris Denorfia '02 and the Louisville Bats face the Pawtucket Red Sox. The four-game stand beginning on July 18 will mark the first New England appearance by the former Wheaton standout since his graduation. Local friends of Wheaton baseball are invited to come out to the ballpark on July 20 to cheer on Denorfia. Game time is 7:05 p.m., but Wheaton fans are welcome to gather beforehand on the café terrace above the stadium's main entrance. (Proceed to the top of the stairs, and the terrace will be on your right.) For ticket information, call the stadium at 401-724-7300, or order online at http://pawsox.com/tickets/. Read about Chris Denorfia's professional baseball career.
