Wheaton students sponsor talent show to raise money for scholarship

The Black Student Association at Wheaton College invites members of the local community to attend a Millennium Showcase Talent Show on Wednesday, April 26.
Musicians, poets, dancers, comedians and singers will perform along with featured guests, Tribe, a dance group mixture of hip-hop, Latin and African dances; and the Wheatones, one of Wheaton's two female a cappella groups. Winners of the talent show will receive prizes, with the first-place winner receiving a cash prize.
Sponsored by the Black Student Association of Wheaton College as a fundraiser to establish Black Student Association[base ']s scholarship fund, the show begins at 7 p.m. in the Watson Theatre. Tickets are $3 per person, or two for $5.
