Immigration reform proposals to be subject of Beyond Common Ground series

Wheaton's new Beyond Common Ground discussion series on national public policy issues continues with a dialogue on pending immigration reform legislation seen from the political Right, Left and Center.
The panel discussion, "Perspectives on Immigration Policy Reform," will be held on Tuesday, April 3 at 7:30 p.m. in the Hindle Auditorium at the Science Center. The event is free and open to the public.
The panelists contributing to the discussion are:
- Mark Krikorian, executive director of the Center for Immigration Studies;
- Maria Elena Letona, executive director of the Centro Presente; and
- Ali Noorani, executive director of the Massachusetts Immigrant and Refugee Advocacy Coalition.
Professor of Political Science Darlene Boroviak will serve as the moderator.
Beyond Common Ground seeks to develop socially responsible civic leadership by presenting critical issues through informed, engaged and respectful dialogue spanning a broad range of political and cultural perspectives.
