The new exhibit at the Beard and Weil galleries puts fashion in a whole new light. "Fashion Statements: The Fine Art of Faux Apparel" presents clothing as a sculptural form and subject. The "clothes," which are definitely not for wearing, are fashioned from myriad materials--from lawn edging to brillo pads and candy wrappers. The show makes full use of the galleries' flexibility.
