Children's greeting cards sustain after-school program in Tanzania

Ashley Mott ’08 and Caitlin O’Connor ’08 spent the summer of 2007 helping to expand an established after-school program in Tanzania. Now they are helping to sustain it by selling greeting cards made from the Tanzanian children’s artwork.

Classics professor produces new 'American' translation of Latin classic

Joel C. Relihan, professor of classics, has produced a new translation of Apuleius’s Latin classic, The Golden Ass (Or, A Book of Changes). The project, which took more than a year, resulted in a version of the work that is not only learned but also readable and fun.
