An astronomer involved in a NASA project to examine the make-up of a passing comet will talk about her work during a public lecture at Wheaton College on Thursday, Oct.

Bestselling author Molly Ivins will receive the 2004 Otis Social Justice Award at Wheaton College on Wednesday, Nov. 10, and then reflect on the outcome of the presidential election in a public lecture.

Among baccalaureate colleges, Wheaton is among the top 25 producers of Fulbright student scholars for 2004-2005, according to a special feature published in the Chronicle of Higher Education today.

Pulitzer-winning journalists Michael Sallah and Mitch Weiss, will lecture as part of the Wheaton College Otis Social Justice Symposium on Human Rights and War.
