Announcing Auditions for FIDDLER ON THE ROOF

The Departments of Music /Theatre Studies and Dance will conduct auditions for the musical FIDDLER ON THE ROOF on Friday, November 21 in Weber Theatre. Auditions will begin at 10 a.m. and continue in half-hour slots throughout the day. A sign-up sheet for the auditions will be posted on the Theatre Department callboard outside Watson 126 this Wednesday.

Auditionees should be prepared to sing one song (please provide your own sheet music) and expect to read from the script as well as execute a brief dance routine. Please arrive at your audition a little early as you will
also be asked to fill out an information sheet. A limited number of scripts will be made available for your perusal in advance. They may be signed out through David Fox in Watson 126 and must be read inside the
Watson Fine Arts building.

Callback auditions for FIDDLER will take place on Monday, November 24 (time and place TBA), and a cast list will be posted on the Theatre Department callboard before Thanksgiving Break. Rehearsals for FIDDLER will begin during the first week of the Spring semester. The show will be presented in the Weber Theatre on April 15, 16, 17, 22, 23, and 24.
