Wheaton hosts a Festival of New Plays

Wheaton College is proud to present A Festival of New Plays, Tuesday, March 4 - Saturday March 8 at 7:30 p.m. in the Kresge Experimental Theatre in Watson Fine Arts. The plays are open to the public without charge although seating will be limited.
The festival, coordinated by Assistant Professor of Playwriting, Charlotte Meehan, Associate Professor of Theatre David Fox, Evelyn Danzig Haas '39 Visiting Artist Julie Fei-Fan Balzer and Emily Norman '03, is the first of it's kind for Wheaton. The weeklong event will showcase five original plays written, directed and acted by students and will conclude with a ten-minute play on Saturday evening. The titles of the plays are as follows:

Tuesday, March 4, 7:30 p.m.
Canadian Money by David Frankel
Directed by Michael Brodt '04

Wednesday, March 5, 7:30 p.m.
Spark Motion- Zusammen Trennen by Laura Jones'03
Directed by Hannah Baines'05

Thursday, March 6, 7:30 p.m.
An Apple Orchard Evening by Wes Brighton'03
Directed by James Donohue'05, followed by:

Better Than Real by Leah Nemeth'03
Directed by Mary Walsh'05

Friday, March 7, 9:00 p.m.
Iodine by Wes Hopper'03
Directed by Wes Hopper

Saturday, March 8, 7:30 p.m.
