CLEVELAND, OH- Wheaton College, which earned its highest ranking in the NCAA Division III Sears Directors' Cup two years ago, is currently ranked in a tie for 53rd overall and seventh best in New England through the first standings of the fall competition.

Nine Wheaton College student-athletes have been named to the New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) All-Academic team for the fall of 2002. Out of the ten member schools, 164 student-athletes received this honor.
