• Liaison Support for Teaching & Research
  Liaisons and the curriculum
  Librarian liaisons and faculty technology liaisons serve as subject specialists who support the research and curricular needs of the academic departments in a variety of ways. 

  First-year seminar library component
  The library component of the First-Year Seminar introduces basic research skills that students need to become academically successful and information literate.

  Go directly to the Library Research Web page to access the HELIN catalog, WorldCat, periodical databases, subject guides, and more.
  Library reserves
  Faculty can provide both physical and electronic access to course reading and listening/viewing assignments by using the library's reserves service.  This is accomplished easily and with attention to copyright requirements.
  Copyright
  Information to help you make informed decisions about using copyrighted material, as well as Wheaton's reserve copyright policy. 

  Borrowing privileges/procedures
  In addition to direct borrowing from HELIN libraries through the library catalog, faculty have on-site privileges at all HELIN libraries, including Brown University.

  Borrowing from non-HELIN libraries (Interlibrary loan)

  Reserving spaces
  Faculty may reserve the Woolley Electronic Classroom or the Stacks Level Electronic Classroom through their liaison librarians for one-time class sessions when hands-on computing or computer demonstrations are required.

• Faculty in Print
  The Library maintains a collection of all Wheaton College faculty monographic and some media publications. Current faculty publications are on continuous display near the library entrance. Second copies are available in the Stacks and may be checked out by authorized borrowers. The Wheaton Collection, maintained in the Archives Reading Room, is the most complete representation of publications by past and present faculty, staff and alumnae/i. Faculty in Print titles can be discovered using the HELIN catalog.
• Course Management System
  OnCourse is Wheaton’s online course management system. Ask us or consult the onCourse Faculty Quickstart Guide when you need help.
