"With a fresh new look, and a more powerful search engine, the new Literature Online provides users with a faster, more efficient search experience..."
Literature Online includes the full text of more than 355,000 works of poetry, drama, and prose from the eighth century to the present day. Primary works include over 340,000 poems, over 6,000 works of English and American drama, and over 3,250 works of prose from 1500 to the early 20th century. Also included in the database is a vast library of key criticism and reference resources and over 380 full text scholarly journals.
The MLA International Bibliography contains over 2 million records for books and articles published from 1926 to the present on modern languages, literatures, folklore, and linguistics; more than 66,000 records are currently added each year. The classified listing and subject index are compiled by the staff of the Modern Language Association Department of Bibliographic Information Services with the cooperation of more than 100 contributing bibliographers in the United States and abroad.
Both Literature Online and the MLA International Bibliography are available from on or off campus. And you can use these e-databases on tablets or go mobile with iPhone®, iPod touch®, Android™, or BlackBerry® devices.
