Contributing as a Teaching Assistant at Wheaton College the current academic year 2011/2012 is one my first contacts with the world of teaching, which has been absolutely positive and gratifying so far. My first encounter, however, was the teaching practice experience that the master’s degree that I took last year offered; a master’s degree in High School Education and Language Teaching. At that time, I also applied for the PRESHCO Program, thanks to which I am right now at Wheaton.
The PRESHCO Program is an agreement between Wheaton College and my university, the University of Córdoba, where I got my degree in English Philology. Although I have studied and I live in Córdoba, I’m from Madrid, where I frequently go on vacation. I would like to become a teacher of English in the future, but, in the meantime, I would not mind keeping my training, preferably abroad.
