Cynthia is the initial contact person in the Office of Health and Wellness for information regarding student health services, health insurance, and health related issues. She is responsible for maintaining health records, monitoring immunization compliance, and coordinating the eating disorders program. As the college liaison to the on-campus health clinic, Norton Medical Center, Cynthia advocates for students by collaborating with NMC providers and assisting students to access available health care. She is also a knowledgeable resource for a variety of on and off campus health care services and wellness options.

Cynthia is a graduate of the University of Rochester and, prior to working at Wheaton, spent 13 years as a registered nurse in acute care at Boston Medical Center.

Dean Andrade oversees student health services and directs health promotion and education programming. He works to support individual students and nurture a healthy campus environment drawing from his experience as a nurse, athletic trainer, public health practitioner, strength & conditioning coach and massage therapist. From his diverse backgrounds flows his mission for service, advocacy and empowerment. That mission is engaged at Wheaton through individual and group partnerships in the name of balance, health and wellness.

Prior to working at Wheaton College, Dean Andrade worked in hospital nursing, directed sports medicine and school nursing programs in the elementary and high school settings and owned and operated a health promotion/ sports performance business.
