The University of Botswana (UB) was established in 1982, and currently has a student population of 15,000. The University's vision is to be a leading academic center of excellence in Africa and the world; while its mission is to advance the intellectual and human resource capacity of the nation and the international community. The University's values recognize a commitment to students, academic freedom, academic integrity, cultural authenticity and internationalism. The university has six faculties: Business, Education, Engineering and Technology, Humanities, Science and Social Sciences.
Full Year – late July-early May
Spring Semester – early January-early May
Fall Semester – late July-early December

4 courses= 4.0 Wheaton Credits
Juniors with a minimum GPA of 2.85.
Housing & Board
Students reside in University Halls, with a meal plan.
Wheaton Comprehensive Fees. Expenses covered include tuition, shared room, and meals at the dining hall.
Students are responsible for $500 Administrative fee, passport and visa fees, supplemental study abroad insurance, and personal expenses.
