The Wheaton Fund
You've known it as the Annual Fund, and your annual gifts to Wheaton are as important as ever. Now, annual giving at Wheaton bears the college's name. When you hear "Wheaton Fund," you'll know it's the way to give every year--and help every day.
The Wheaton Fund provides a strong foundation of financial support to the college. Gifts may range from a few dollars to hundreds of thousands, but every gift is important. The collective giving of Wheaton's alumnae/i, parents and friends added up to more than $3.8 million last year, and these dollars directly benefit current academic and co-curricular programs.
WHY GIVE?
Reason #1:
Your gifts make a real impact.
When you join with your fellow Wheaton alums and friends in supporting the Wheaton Fund, you're investing directly in what matters: the student experience. Together you help
- keep class sizes small
- recruit and retain the finest professors
- maintain and improve our beautiful campus, and
- through scholarships, ensure access to a Wheaton education for all qualified students.
In short, your generosity enriches every aspect of a student's education, helping to provide the personal learning experience that is Wheaton's hallmark.
Reason #2:
Quality is expensive.
Annual contributions from Wheaton's supporters are an essential part of the annual budget. Like many small colleges, Wheaton is highly dependent upon tuition revenues--but tuition alone does not cover the full cost of running the college or providing a Wheaton education.
Your gifts, combined with those of others, help bridge the gap between tuition revenues and actual expenses, helping to sustain Wheaton's excellence.
