Wheaton in Germany

Our very own study abroad program at the Regensburg Universität was established in 2003 in consortium with Vanderbilt and Wesleyan universities. The program maintains the high academic standard and the dedication to a sound liberal education for which its sponsoring institutions are known.  It runs a full six months, from mid-January to mid-July, and offers a two-month intensive language program followed by matriculation at the University of Regensburg for the Sommersemester (spring term).

One of the most important and appreciated benefits is the network of support and assistance our students receive throughout their stay from the Resident Director, chosen from one of the three institutions each year, and from the Foreign Student Office of the Regensburg University.

Students take a variety of courses in fields for which they'll receive full (1.0) graduation as well as major credits. Courses in the humanities and social sciences as well as sciences are also available. Every effort is made to place students in courses from which they will receive the maximum intellectual benefit.
