Sally McCarthy
Visiting Assistant Professor of Studio Art
Sally McCarthy began her career as a painter and received her Bachelor of Arts in Painting and Art History from the Massachusetts College of Art. She later received her Masters in Painting from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst where she taught oil painting, watercolor, advanced drawing, design, and color theory. McCarthy went on to teach a variety of fine arts classes and workshops at the Decordova Museum and has been a part-time Professor at Stonehill College since 2010. Over the last two decades she was the owner of Mosaic Design, Inc. and worked as an art director, designer and illustrator for Shield's Design Studio and ADAMS Design & Marketing Solutions. McCarthy currently works as a freelance designer, and exhibits her paintings locally.
