Main Interests
Connie says, "I am available for conferences with students about any writing concerns or projects, including long papers, personal statements or the development of writing strategies. My objective is to listen actively with the understanding that writing is communication; therefore, all writing has an audience. As students and I work together on their writing, I become their audience."
Research Interests
Learning Differences, Tutoring, Composition, Academic Journal Writing, Perception vs Memory (Memoir writing in narrative, essay form), Poetry and, to some degree, because I think it's necessary, satire.

Compostion, Basic Writing, Students with Learning Differences, Honors Thesis Students
Other Interests
Writing memoir, poetry and essays. Films, hiking and reading. My dog.

Poetry published in various small presses including, Issues, Brown Journal of the Arts, Clerestory, Dogwood, Three Rivers Poetry Journal and RI Women Speak.

Student Projects
Working with students with Learning Differences, Honors Thesis students, and students writing their senior thesis. I work with students who are collaborating; I tutor these groups.
