Creative Nonfiction

The creative nonfiction workshop allows students to explore ideas and concepts in the world around them from personal points of view. Workshop participants are encouraged to essay (or offer) possible answers to enduring questions for themselves and to share their reflections with members of the group. Types of essays include nature writing, travel writing, memoir, and vignettes, among others. Like the great essayists of all times, students in the workshop cultivate and nurture their own distinctive voices through the manipulation and mastery of language & style.
