Did you come to Wheaton knowing you wanted to major in Computer Science?
I had no idea I wanted to major in Computer Science coming to Wheaton. I thought I was going to major in psychology or economics. On a hunch, I decided to take COMP 115: Robots, games and problem solving and absolutely loved it. I declared my major my freshman spring.
What is your favorite programming language and why?
C++ is definitely my favorite language. It was my first language, and it's really enjoyable to program in. It is a general purpose language and can be used to solve a wide variety of problems.
What has been the most interesting class you've taken in the Computer Science Curriculum?
The most interesting class I took at Wheaton was Principles of Programming Languages. We learned a wide variety of languages with different functionality, and on top of that got to create a parser which is a big part of a compiler.
