Audition Techniques

Auditioning is what actors loathe the most. Much time is spent agonizing over material, resumes, headshots, what to wear, where to find information, being judged in just two short minutes; the list goes on and on. One of the most important and helpful tips is to rethink the audition process. Instead of a two minute hell that causes you to break out into a sweat and drives you to panic, auditioning needs to be thought of as another opportunity to act. This class will help you find material, work on creating a professional persona with resume, and prepare you for any audition you are brave enough to show up for in the future, from graduate schools to T.V. and film.
