The International Politics of Forced Migration

Course description: “This course covers global issues in forced migration, the movement of people displaced by persecution, conflict, natural or man-made disaster, development projects, or environmental disaster. We will explore the causes of the movement, state responses to refugee flows, and the development of an international regime around forced migration. A series of recent events are examined, including the Syrian “refugee crisis.”
