History 100. Ancient Western History
Surveys Western societies from Neolithic Revolution (c. 3000 BCE) to collapse of the Roman Empire in West (c. 400 CE), that is, ancient Mesopotamian, Egyptian, Hebrew, Greek, and Roman societies. Topics covered will include power, gender, family, religion, war, and development of art and ideas.
