Ancient Studies

Hebrew. Greek. Latin. Interpret ancient texts and uncover the religious and cultural history of the Mediterranean, including the traditions of Judaism and Christianity. In this interdisciplinary program, you can choose one of three tracks: Greco-Roman, Hebrew or the New Testament. You can further customize your studies by choosing electives that pique your curiosity, such as the faith and practice of Islam or Judaism, the thought of ancient philosophers such as Plato and Socrates, or an anthropology course devoted to the rise and fall of ancient Rome.
