Studio Art 260. Production I: Visual Storytelling with Film and Video

Visual Storytelling with Film and Video is an introduction to the fundamentals of film and video production. Students will develop practical skills in developing short film scripts, camera operation, directing, sound recording, editing, and pre-production. Through in-class exercises, peer based critiques, and lectures, students will refine their sense of visual and auditory aesthetics and begin developing their voices as visual storytellers. They will use this voice to develop two original short film projects over the course of the semester.
