Senior year is an important time at Wheaton. Career services  is available to assist you with preparing your for life after Wheaton. Throughout this academic year we have many programs and services: from resumes and cover letters writing to LinkedIn workshops, networking, on campus recruiting, Major Connections, to our annual Sweats to Suits. Be on the look out for the weekly Senior Newsletter with updates and information from our office.

Remember, it is not to early to meet with me to discuss and plan for your life after Wheaton.

Meet with a Career Advisor to plan your individualized job search strategy.

Create and update your LinkedIn Profile.

Sign into CampusTap to search for jobs and network with Alumnae/i

Speak with your faculty advisor or dean to discuss graduate school and national fellowship opportunities.

Conduct customized informational interviews with Filene Center Alumnae/i volunteers to learn more about specific jobs and organizational cultures.

Participate in Sweats to Suits, a series of workshops designed to propel you from Wheaton to the workplace. Workshops include: Dress for Success, Professional Networking, Social Media, and Personal Finance.

Attend Senior/Alumnae/i Receptions to strengthen your network and practice your presentation skills.

Finalize your resume, featuring academic, co-curricular and work experiences related to your career focus.

Apply for jobs and other post-graduate opportunities based upon the information you have acquired through your informational interviews and networking.
