Internships/Jobs
Your Wheaton education consists of academics, co-curricular experiences, and multiple opportunities to participate in internships, fieldwork, summer and part-time jobs. Our four-year plan emphasizes that students have three summers to “try on” potential careers, to see what fits and what doesn’t. The first summer might be used to explore a new interest, the second summer to connect an academic interest to a related field and the summer between the junior and senior year, to focus on a specific position as a springboard for the senior job search process or graduate school.
In 2010 alone, Wheaton students interned on six continents: from Norton to Namibia, Portland to Peru, Istanbul to India, and Cape Town to Kumming, China. Explore this interactive map and read the 2011 Internship Showcase Brochure to see how some of our students spent their summer.View larger map »
