Deadline is April 1, 2016.  All applications submitted by 11:59pm EST will be considered.

Applicants should be women graduate students entering their final year of graduate studies in the mathematical sciences.

Women from underrepresented minority groups are especially encouraged to apply.

  • Travel support is limited to $600 per participant. Are you willing to pay for the remainder of your travel expenses yourself or request them from your graduate program?
  • Briefly describe the ideal plan for your career after graduate school, including your hopes for a first post-doctoral job.
  • Please list any REUs, summer programs or other workshops that you have participated in, and the nature of your participation. For example, EDGE, Infinite Possibilities, etc.
  • Please upload your current CV. Prepare your file as a pdf, and use this construction for its filename: LastName_cv

  • Please write a 1-2 page personal statement that explains how you believe participation in CaMeW will help you attain your professional goals. Be specific. We encourage you to address any of the following topics that will help us understand your motivation to participate in the workshop: What past experiences (positive or negative) have led you to apply to the workshop? What do you expect the outcomes of the workshop to be for you? What will you contribute to the workshop, for your personal success and the benefit of others? Prepare your file as a pdf, and use this construction for its filename: LastName_statement
