Wheaton has recently partnered with American Airlines to help reduce and better manage our travel costs. We have enrolled in American Airlines' Busienss ExtrAA Program. This free program enables the college to earn Business ExtraAA points every time an employee travels for business on American Airlines, American Eagle or American Connection carriers. At the same time, you will continue to earn your individual AAdvantage miles.

Please include this account number, as well as your individual AAdvantage number, with every reservation on American Airlines, American Eagle or American Connection carriers for business travel whether you book online or through a travel agent. The college’s preferred travel agent, Cleveland Circle Travel, has already been issued this number and will automatically enter the Business ExtrAA account number at the time of reservation. Regardless of the booking option, our Business ExtrAA account number can be added as follows:
- If you choose to book your reservation online through www.aa.com, input your Business ExtrAA account number in the “Business ExtrAA Account Number” section.
- If you make your reservation online through a non-American Airlines site (Expedia, Travelocity, etc.), please email Business ExtrAA Customer Service at email@example.com with your name, record locator number and Business ExtrAA account number.
- If you make reservations directly with American Airlines Reservations at 1-800-433-1790, please provide the Business ExtrAA account number at that time.
- If you choose to make reservations at an American Airlines airport ticket counter, the agent may enter the Business ExtrAA account number in the “Tour Code” box.
This is a new travel program for the college. To ensure its success, we need your assistance with entering our Business ExtrAA account number. Over time, the points will accumulate and may be redeemed for airline tickets, saving budget dollars. Business Services will be the account manager for this program and will receive monthly statements, which detail points earned and by whom. Points earned are valid for two years and will be tracked by division. Business Services will notify the division officer of the availability of earned tickets for approved business travel within their respective division.
