We learn so much from each other.
That’s why college (at least our college) brings together so many smart people–students from across the country and around the world who work with faculty members dedicated to teaching and scholarship.
And that’s the idea behind WheaTalks: to teach and to learn.
In one night, ten people will share ideas that occurred to them in class, in the shower, in the Davis Cafe or wherever. And those ideas will not only create a great evening of intellectual excitement but they also can spark a broader conversation.
What are the ideas? Well, they are diverse, ranging from the theatre and house music to economic development and scientific prognostications.
Come see the lightbulbs spark.
