The Lyons saw their record fall to 3-2 overall and 0-1 in league play, while the Beavers move to 3-0 on the season and 2-0 in the NEWMAC. Babson took an early advantage in doubles play, capturing the top two positions by 8-6 counts. Parker School), 7-6, 7-5 at number one while freshman Kali Hogan (Clinton, MA/Clinton) defeated sophomore Maya Milic-Strkalj (Philadelphia, PA/Friends' Central School), 6-4, 7-5 in the fourth spot.
