Wheaton freshman goalie Leddy earns ECAC and NEWMAC honorsSeptember 8, 2008 NORTON, MA- Wheaton College women's soccer standout Lindsay Leddy (Warwick, RI/Wheeler School) was named Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Defensive Player of the Week and New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) Player of the Week for the week ending on Sunday, September 7. A freshman, Leddy earned a pair of shutouts during her first two collegiate starts while not surrendering a goal in 225 minutes.
