The Wheaton College women's volleyball team went 3-1 at home last week, picking up a 3-0 (25-10, 25-20, 25-21) victory on Tuesday over Mount Holyoke College in a New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) match before taking the runner-up spot at its own Wheaton Invitational on Saturday, when junior Becca Rose (Sudbury, MA/Lincoln-Sudbury Regional) was named all-tournament. The Lyons fell to eventual champion Emerson College, 3-2 (25-19, 25-15, 22-25, 22-25, 13-15) before downing Rhode Island College, 3-2 (25-20, 24-26, 25-20, 22-25, 15-12) and Gordon College, 3-0 (25-15, 25-21, 25-23).
