NORTON, MA- Senior Jessica Bramucci (Ludlow, MA/Wilbraham & Monson Academy) was selected to represent the Wheaton College women's soccer team as a back at the New England Women's Intercollegiate Soccer Association (NEWISA) Senior Bowl on Sunday, December 7, at Salem State College at 11:00 a.m.

The Senior Bowl consists of two teams with players from NCAA Divisions I, II and III. Bramucci, who was the leading vote getter among six backs, is one of seven New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) players.

Bramucci displayed her versatility over the course of the 24-game season, as she started as a forward, midfielder and defender while appearing in 21 contests. Bramucci tied for second on the team in assists (6), was third in points (16) and tied for third in goals (5). She assisted the lone goal in Wheaton’s 1-0 win over then-fourth-ranked Western Connecticut State University on September 6 and assisted two other game-winners while netting one of her own.

Wheaton qualified for its ninth consecutive NCAA Tournament last weekend after gaining at least a share of the NEWMAC regular season championship for the 10th straight season. The Lyons, who were ranked sixth in New England in the latest National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) poll, posted a 16-6-2 record, including a 7-1-1 conference mark. The Blue and White also advanced to the NEWMAC Tournament title game for the 10th successive fall.
