Men's and Women's Cross Country Runners Take Part in All New England Championship

The Wheaton College men's and women's cross country teams sent runners to the All New England Championship on Saturday in Boston's Franklin Park, where harriers from regional institutions in all three of the NCAA's divisions competed. The Lyon women took 32nd, while the men were 46th. Senior Lauren Reddy (Walnut Creek, CA/Carondelet) paced Wheaton by taking 73rd, while classmates Lily Calderwood (Harvard, MA/Bromfield School) and Amanda Rawson (Dudley, MA/Shepherd Hill Regional) were 115th and 123rd, respectively. Sophomore Colin Fahey (Waltham, MA/Weston) was the first Lyon finisher on the men's side.
