Hade draws second academic honor, named Scholar All-American

June 1, 2007

NORTON, MA- Wheaton College senior men's lacrosse standout Chris Hade (Franklin Lakes, NJ/Dwight-Englewood School) was among 40 players from around the nation across the NCAA's three divisions to earn United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) Scholar All-America status. Hade was one of 18 Division III athletes named to the squad.

Hade, who graduated last month cum laude after majoring in both economics and political science while minoring in management, was a Pilgrim League Academic All-Conference qualifier as both a senior and freshman.

An all-league performer each of his final two seasons, Hade appeared in all 14 games in the backfield this spring. The tri-captain picked up 48 ground balls while completing his career with 225 ground balls in 59 games. He was also invited to compete in this evening's New England Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (NEILA) East-West Senior All-Star game at Harvard University.
