Wheaton holds fourth annual cross country relaysSeptember 1, 2001 The Wheaton College men's and women's cross country teams held their fourth annual Wheaton Relays this morning on Elms Field, with seven schools competing on the women's side. The relays consist of teams of three runners with each runner completing a two-mile course. This meet is not part of the regular season, but instead an opportunity for coaches to evaluate their runners before the beginning of the competitive season. The relay team from Brandeis University posted top honors for the women in a time of 37:38. Running in that threesome was junior Amanda Keyes (Augusta, ME), junior Heather Davidson (Vancouver, WA) and sophomore Mariko Holbrook (Trumansburgh, NY).
