Officially established in 1980 with the help of a generous donation from the Gebbie Foundation, Wheaton's Archives and Special Collections houses the college's archives, rare books, manuscripts, documents of unique value, and items that relate to Wheaton's rich history.
The Archives and Special Collections website is designed to allow students, educators, alumnae, and outside researchers to explore Wheaton's collections and learn about many services available to them. In addition select exhibits are accessible online for the viewer's enjoyment.
Starting in March 2013, the Marion B. Gebbie Archives is proud to present @ElizaBTweetin, a series of daily tweets taken from founder Eliza Baylies Wheaton's pocket diaries. Follow Us!
