Welcome to the Marion B. Gebbie Archives and Special Collections
Officially established in 1980 with the help of a generous donation from the Gebbie Foundation, Wheaton's Archives
and Special Collections houses the college's archives, rare books, manuscripts, documents of unique value, and items that relate to Wheaton's rich history.
The Archives and Special Collections website is designed to allow students, educators, alumnae, and outside researchers to explore Wheaton's collections and learn about many services available to them. In addition, selected exhibits are accessible online for the viewer's enjoyment.

Online Exhibits
The Online Exhibits section provides a glimpse of some of the most interesting materials from the College Archives and Manuscript Collections.

College Archives
The College Archives contain administrative records, papers, photographs, scrapbooks, and other memorabilia related to both Wheaton Female Seminary and Wheaton College.
Manuscript Collections
The Manuscript Collections include papers of alumnae/i and faculty, as well as diaries and papers of women, families and organizations unconnected with Wheaton College that enrich the research experience.
Rare Book Collections
The strengths of the Rare Book Collection include women, family, and gender issues, as well as the art of printing and binding, Victorian binding and literature children's literature, and travel.
