Tanzania with Professor Donna Kerner
Donna Kerner is Professor of Anthropology, African, and Development Studies and has taught at Wheaton for over twenty years. She has been engaged in field research in Tanzania since 1982 on topics such as education and social class, gender and famine, women’s cooperatives, and memory and material culture. Her current research focuses on the adaptation of micro-finance development schemes such as the Grameen Bank to developing nations in Africa.
