Honk! Anthropology at Work and Play!

In October 2011, Professors Bruce Owens, Julie Searles and Gabriela Torres participated in HONK! 2011, a festival of activist street bands. They joined fellow anthropologists from Tufts University and paraded as part of the "Endangers Species with Lipstick" comparza.
Students from Anthropology 226: The Anthropology of Art, Anthropology 401: Senior Seminar and FYS:Social Empowerment through the Performing Arts joined in enjoying the practice of activism through music and dance.
