ALUMNAE/I AND PARENT ADMISSION COMMITTEE
Wheaton's Alumnae/i and Parent Admission Committee (APAC) is one of several volunteer programs supported by the Alumnae/i Association and the Office of Admission. APAC volunteers are trained to assist the college in recruiting promising young men and women to become members of the next class of Wheaton students. As an APAC volunteer, alumnae/i may choose to become involved with a variety of activities including:
- Representing Wheaton at area college fairs
- Interviewing prospective students
- Congratulating students on their acceptance to Wheaton
- Hosting or attending receptions for prospective or admitted students
A great opportunity
Becoming an APAC volunteer is a fantastic way for you to stay connected to Wheaton, to become involved in your local community, to give back to the college, and to play an important role in identifying future generations of Wheaton graduates!
The time commitment involved is minimal: as little as one hour a year or as much as you are willing to give. By sharing your Wheaton experiences and professional successes with prospective students, you will give the students an "insider's look" at the benefits of the Wheaton experience. Your efforts as an APAC volunteer also enable the college to reach many more students
If you are interested in sharing your time and joining your fellow alumnae/i in this exciting effort, please contact Kristen Cahalane '05 or e-mail email@example.com to learn more about APAC and volunteering in your home area.
APAC materials and resources are available to all APAC volunteers!
