Elaine Meryl Brown ’77, P’07, Wheaton College Alumnae/i Trustee and Alumnae/i Association.
ADVANCEMENT COMMITTEE, CO-VICE CHAIR
EMMY AWARD WINNING CREATIVE MARKETING EXECUTIVE. FORMER VP CREATIVE SERVICES, HBO. President’s Council, Wheaton College. I give back to Wheaton because it’s a fine institution, the place where I grew up, that planted the roots to help me evolve into the TV professional and best-selling author I am today.
Elaine works as a strategic creative marketing executive in branded entertainment. She recently co-authored a book on leadership, The Little Black Book of Success: Laws of Leadership for Black Women, that was published by Random House and is currently on book tour. Elaine brings her brand marketing and media experience to Wheaton by serving on the Advancement Committee. She partners with other leaders on the Board to build strategy around alumnae/i engagement and brings her brand marketing expertise to other college initiatives as needed. Elaine represents a link between the two boards, and gives back to Wheaton because she believes in the transformative power it has over its students to succeed in whatever it is they chose to do in life. She lives in Bergen County New Jersey.
