Becky Callow '73, National Wheaton Fund Co-Chair
Rebecca Callow worked in education for most of her professional life teaching high school, second grade, and even nursery school when her children were young. Although she took a number of years away from the professional world while raising a family, she continued her love of the written word by writing two children’s books, ‘Anthony’s Gift’ and ‘The Marble’. Recently she co-authored the book, ‘The College Compass: Helping Families Navigate a Difficult Course’ which focuses on helping families make the difficult process of college applications more ‘family friendly’.
Wheaton has continued to be part of her life as she has served on The President’s Commission and worked as her Class Fund Agent. She looks forward to becoming the Wheaton Fund National Co-Chair as she continues to feel the importance of excellence in education at every level with her focus now directed at the college level.
