Nominate Alumnae/i Board Members

Dear Members of the Wheaton Community:

We are requesting your participation in a key activity of the Alumnae/i Association – the nomination of new board members. The Alumnae/i Board of Directors is committed to building a large and diverse pool of candidates, and your participation is crucial to our efforts.

The Alumnae/i Board represents your voice to the Wheaton Community and the Administration. We are a dedicated and hard working group of volunteers, who come together with one ultimate goal in mind – the support and continued success of Wheaton College. Through the Board’s efforts, we have seen a 79.3% increase in volunteer engagement since 2007– and we want that number to continue to grow!

We are currently seeking nominations for the following positions:

Nominees do not need to have served in a leadership capacity with Wheaton or be a certain age- what matters is our shared commitment to our alma mater. When presenting a nomination, please be as thorough as possible about your knowledge of the nominee – this anecdotal information is vital to the work of the Nominating Committee. We welcome self-nominations, as well! The deadline for submissions is November 1, 2014.

It takes only a few minutes to fill out the form, www.wheatoncollege.net/boardnominations, but the impact is immeasurable! For specific questions, please feel free to be in touch with Susan Little Doyle '77, Executive Director of Alumnae/i Relations, at doyle_susan@wheatoncollege.edu or the Alumnae/i Office at 508-286-8207. You can also reach the Nominating Chair directly through alumnaei@wheatoncollege.edu.

Let your voice be heard – nominate yourself or a classmate today.

Warm regards,
