If you could have dinner with any historical figure, who would it be, and why?
Any one of history’s great villains. I’d ask them if they would still have done what they did knowing how history would come to view them.
What was the most memorable news story in your lifetime?
For better or for worse, there are too many to choose from. But January 20th, 2009 was definitely a big one.
What has been your most thrilling adventure?
Spending three weeks in South Africa and Botswana exploring the differences in how those two countries experienced European Colonialism and how they are both dealing with Colonialism’s legacy today.
What is your favorite movie or television show?
Television show – The West Wing
Movie – Anything made by Pixar (with an emphasis on Finding Nemo and the Incredibles)
